Fun is serious business at the Muskoka Discovery Centre, and our goal is to provide year-round enjoyment for families of all ages—1 to 101!
Based on S.T.E.A.M. principles (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math), KidZone is a hands-on space for play, exploration, and learning across five exciting zones. Laugh, Learn, Explore, Discover as you “play to learn and learn to play.”
Drop-In Visits & Costs
- KidZone is open for drop-in play during regular Discovery Centre hours.
- Admission: $10 per child, $25 per accompanying adult.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Weekend Facilitated Sessions
- On select weekends, our staff host facilitated activities and themed sessions for extra hands-on fun and learning.
- Sessions are included with regular admission—perfect for children to explore guided activities while parents relax or join in!
Celebrate Your Child’s Special Day!
- Birthday party packages are for a total of two(2) hours where you can have the Greavette Room for the full time so you have a place to keep your decorations, food and presents, and either a one(1) hour guided tour OR one(1) hour in our KidZone with an activity by our staff, for $300 + HST.
- Packages accommodate up to 20 guests(kids and adults), for a hassle-free, fun-filled celebration!

Family Membership
Want to visit KidZone all year long? Purchase a Family Membership for $250 + HST.
- Covers two adults and up to four dependent children (17 and under) for 1 year of unlimited entry.
