2017 marked RMS Segwun’s 130th ANNIVERSARY 1887 – 2017
During Canada’s sesquicentennial, RMS Segwun, North America’s oldest operating royal mail steamship, will be celebrating her 130th anniversary. She is recognized by Canada Post as an official “Royal Mail Ship.” In 2001 & 2002, Segwun was voted Best Large Attraction by Attractions Canada. In 2012, Segwun was awarded the elite status of “Signature Experience” by Destination Canada. We celebrated her milestone all season long, with her fans from around the world – South Africa, Brazil, Denmark, Singapore, Scotland, England, and France!
