Lake Effects: Bev Clark Speaks, Sunday January 22, 2017
January 17, 2017
Bev is a specialist in aquatic science. From 2 pm to 3 pm, Sunday, January 22, 2017, he will talk about the relationship between glaciation and the lakes of Muskoka. Bev has served as the Government of Ontario’s primary water quality liaison. He worked with cottage associations and stewardship groups. He coordinated the Province’s Lake Partner program. Volunteers sample and monitor that tropic status of the province’s lakes. [Trophic status is a means of classifying lakes and describing lake processes in terms of the productivity of the system.]
Admission to the event is free when you purchase a ticket to the Discovery Centre, or by donation, if you just want to listen to Bev’s presentation. The Muskoka Discovery Centre is located on the Wharf in Gravenhurst. Parking is free.
